More about the different profile types for diamond saw blades

A continuous band profile guarantees a clean finish without chipping.

This is particularly suitable for extra hard or vitrified materials such as glazed ceramic tiles.

A continuous band turbo profile combines high cutting speed with a clean finish.

This is particularly suitable for tiles and natural stone.

A segmented profile has the classic open teeth pattern, where the distance between the segments in not too great,

creating a good balance between finish and cutting speed.

A segmented turbo profile guarantees a high cutting speed.

This is mainly used in hard and medium-hard materials such as stone and (reinforced) concrete.

With the segmented open profile, the distance between the segments is greater than usual,

enabling an even higher cutting speed.

In addition, thicker workpieces can also be easily cut with a table saw.

With the segmented closed profile, there is no space between the segments.

This guarantees a clean finish without chipping.

The laser-cut slots prevent noise, vibrations and warping of the blade.

This is particularly suitable for cutting ceramic tiles with a table saw.

A segmented inclined profile has distinctive laser-cut angled slots that ensure better evacuation of debris

and a higher cutting speed.

The special profile is used for specific saw blades for cutting metal and marble, or for multi-material saw blades.

Here, no classic diamond segment is used. Diamond is attached to the blade by electroplating or vacuum brazing.
